
Arianne Hartsell-Gundy's Online Portfolio
Biography
Arianne Hartsell-Gundy is a Humanities Librarian at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She serves as the liaison for the English, Theatre, Communication, and Film Studies departments. Besides her liaison responsibilities, her main duties include instruction, collection development, and reference. She is also an adjunct instructor in the Interactive Media Studies department. Before coming to Miami University, she was an Instruction Librarian at Florida State University. She graduated from Indiana University with an MLS and a MA in Comparative Literature. Purpose
As part of the continuing contract and promotion of librarians at Miami University, librarians are expected to excel at their primary professional responsibilities. They are also expected to provide service to the library, the university, and the larger professional community. Finally, they are expected to contribute to scholarly research. This online portfolio is meant to highlight these areas. It includes information about research, examples of various instructional initiatives, example of outreach projects, examples of reference interactions, and demonstrations of service, particularly at the national level.
